The Role
Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding career in healthcare We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Medical Receptionist on a casualbasis.
This position requires availability on Wednesday and Thursday plus coverage for annual leave and sick leave as required. Shifts may be rostered between 8.00am and 5:30pm.
As a medical receptionist in our practice you will be responsible for:
- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and proactively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
- Customerfocused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills professional presentation and positivecando attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
