Position Title: Office Boy
Department: Administration
Reports To: Office Manager / Supervisor
Job Overview:
We are looking for a diligent energetic and reliable Office Boy to support the office operations with tasks that include maintaining cleanliness assisting the staff and ensuring a smooth work environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive flexible and capable of managing various responsibilities to ensure that both the office and staff have everything they need to work efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Dusting:
- Regular cleaning and dusting of office spaces including desks floors windows and common areas.
- Ensure all areas are clean hygienic and wellmaintained throughout the workday.
- Maintaining the Pantry:
- Ensure the pantry area is always clean organized and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g. snacks tea coffee sugar etc..
- Take care of the kitchen appliances and ensure they are in working condition.
- Keep track of pantry supplies and assist in restocking as required.
- Coffee & Tea Preparation:
- Prepare and serve tea coffee and refreshments to staff and management.
- Ensure that hot beverages are always available when required.
- Office Assistance:
- Provide administrative support to staff by making sure necessary office supplies and materials are available.
- Assist with photocopying scanning and delivering documents within the office as required.
- Delivery of Samples/Office Items:
- Deliver office samples documents and packages to various locations (within the office building or external destinations) as requested.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to clients or other departments.
- Travel for Office Purposes:
- If required assist with traveling to external locations for officerelated errands (e.g. picking up supplies deliveries etc..
- Having a twowheeler would be considered an advantage for ease of travel.
- EndofDay Responsibilities:
- Be the last to leave the office/showroom after all staff have left.
- Ensure the office/showroom is properly closed and secured including switching off lights locking doors and ensuring all equipment is safely powered down.
- Ensure the premises are neat and clean before departure.
- Other Duties:
- Assist the staff with general requests and ensure a comfortable and organized office environment.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize well.
- Good communication skills and an approachable demeanor.
- Reliability punctuality and trustworthiness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A twowheeler would be beneficial for performing travelrelated tasks.
Work Conditions:
- Fulltime position.
- The work environment is officebased and you will be required to work from the office premises during regular business hours.
