Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
This position will work withSDA personnel to provide operationsmaintenance and programmingof asbuilt AV systems throughout the SDAs area of responsibilities as well asrequirement capture design / engineering and installation ofsystem enhancementsof custom control system design based on the customers needs. As well as provide high end products/services launching/commissioning customer deliverablestimely/efficiently according to project timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and construct control system code and graphic screen layouts based upon engineering designs build to and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot new and legacy systems hardware cabling and components.
- Integrate thirdparty hardware/software solutions when needed.
- Createexecuteand revise project plans to meet changing needs.
- Formulate timelines and control documents for design history file.
- Ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately.
- Interface with external/internal clients and manufacturers/vendors.
- Program install test and support control systems both onsite and remotely withpossible traveloutside city/state of local office.
- Deliver projects assigned including communication management schedule management source control and documentation.
- Regularly reporting to manager on the status of all projects.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of company standards andmethodology.
- Understand andpossibleassist with the installation of structured cabling to include pulling terminationand testing cat5e/6 video RGB HDMI DVI and audio cables if needed.
- Understand andassistwith the installation of AV control system equipment hardware toincludeaudio and video conferencing equipment distributed audio digital signage sound reinforcement and all presentation systems if needed.
- Identifyand solve issues that willimpactthe project.
- Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met including close out documentation and punch list items.
- Complete installation of software/control system needs of client systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assuretimelycompletion and maximum performance.
- Perform quality control/check on finished product/projects including testing and presentation training to clients.
- Responsible forcoordinatingwithproperty ownersandOEMs in processingRMA issues.
- Assistin supporting technicians with onsite training endeavors.
- Follow all safety guidelines of Data Projections and client requirements.
- Perform other jobrelatedduties or special projectsas assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MinimumTS clearance with SCI eligibility
- Crestron Certified Programmercertification
- CTSI or Dcertification
- 8years of relevant experience
- Experiencewith Office 365 and Microsoft products
- US Citizen
