Job Description
Real estate investment firm based in downtown Miami is looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This individual will perform accounting functions for the firms real estate investments as well as the internal accounting of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting process for a portfolio of real estate investments
- Prepare process and review monthly close functions and financial statements for each investment
- Record operating and investment transactions
- Analyze budgets and forecasting activities
- Communicate with outside national CPA Firm and financial institutions
- Respond to inquiries from the Partners regarding financial results and reports and adhoc projects when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 24 years of accounting experience within the real estate or financial services industry
- Advanced Excel skills
