Payroll Coordinator Television Production Services
(Remote)
A leading provider of production staffing and support for the television industry is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their closeknit team. With an international reach this company helps major networks produce video coverage across the U.S. and around the world.
The Payroll Coordinator will manage payroll billing invoicing reconciliations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has strong accounting acumen and experience working in QuickBooks and Excel. At least three years of accounting experience is preferred for this position. This role collaborates and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Process bimonthly payroll
- Handle new hires tax liabilities garnishments and union reports.
- Ensure compliance with EVerify NY Disability and union requirements.
- Prepare digital show folders for invoicing and payroll approvals.
- Review time cards budgets and union contracts for accuracy.
- Respond to emails and calls promptly.
- Assist with yearend filings 1099s 1095s W2s).
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of accounting experience including payroll.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent coursework.
