Job Description
Science Teacher
Position Title: 8th Grade Science Teacher TEMP
Position Summary:
Teacher will be responsible for instruction of science students. Strong classroom management will be needed to maintain a positive classroom environment during labs. Candidate should have experience with working with chemicals and handson materials that are included in the Purdue Science Kits. Candidate will have to work collaboratively with the Language Arts Math and Social Studies teachers.
Immediate Supervisor: Principal
Duties:
Teach general science according to the Indiana Department of Education Science Standards.
Qualifications: Science License or Science Endorsement 512
Highly qualified
Applicants must not have been evaluated as ineffective or recommended for probation assistance on their most recent evaluation.
