An exciting opportunity has opened for a dedicated ASC Teacher to join a brandnew allthrough special school in Feltham Hounslow from September 2025. This purposebuilt school is designed to meet the needs of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and related communication and interaction needs. As an ASC Teacher you will play a central role in helping students who are often working at or near agerelated expectations. The school places a strong emphasis on nurturing independence emotional wellbeing and meaningful progress.

ASC Teacher Role Overview:
- Plan and deliver engaging personalised lessons that meet the needs of learners with autism and associated needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists support staff and families to implement individualised learning and communication strategies.
- Foster a calm structured and inclusive classroom environment that supports students learning regulation and independence.
- Track and report on student progress in line with EHCP outcomes and school assessment policies.
- Take an active role in school life including enrichment activities and team planning sessions.
ASC Teacher Requirements:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience supporting autistic children and young people.
- Deep understanding of ASC and evidencebased approaches such as TEACCH PECS or SCERTS.
- Strong communication teamwork and behaviour support skills.
- A reflective practitioner with a commitment to professional growth and collaborative working.
