Successful Candidate Hires are those whom we believeare committed to workingin our district serving in any one of our schoolsand communities. Placement of25/26candidates will occur when specific vacancies have been identified.
Employment with the district as a teacher in the Teacher Pool means the following:
- Position is fulltime and works the same time days times and calendar of teaching employees
- Assignment will be made in a position outside of your license area based on district need (this could be long term or daily assignments acting as building sub etc. and will work every day
- Receive contract pay and benefits commencing the first day of employment under the collective bargaining agreement; will accrue system seniority
- Be considered a priority hire and offered contract positions within your license area before new hires to the district
