Brief job description:
Understand the environment of Melia Hotels International Brands and Hotels. Know the tone and form of communication of the different brands and hotels.
Respond to and energise the Melia Hotels International Social Media community around the world.
Manage these responses in all the social media channels that Melia Hotels International currently has: Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn YouTube etc.
Empathise with users responding in the shortest possible time so that they feel attended to in an agile and efficient manner.
Redirect incidents arising in the digital environment to the departments and areas responsible in each case.
Coordinate with your counterpart in Spain in order to ensure the correct transfer of information and incidents that arise during the established hours.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator in Spain for the followup of the tasks to ensure the project objectives are met.

Knowledge of Social Media
Fluency in oral and written Spanish and English
Basic knowledge of social media tools

Experience and training:
Studies in marketing advertising tourism or similar.
Experience in social media management at least one year.
Experience in the tourism and/or hospitality sector would be an asset.
Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
