The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of GM automotive technology and the automotive industry along with excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities
- Perform walkaround with client at the time of arrival for service
- Determine guests primary concern and review additional maintenance
- Provide in depth information about parts and service options
- Produce repair orders for guests including cost and time estimates with full transparency
- Offer transportation options at the time of service
- Follow up the guest on the status of their vehicle throughout the service visit
- Maintain high customer service and satisfaction to dealership standards as measure by surveys from different sources.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services provided
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree or six months to oneyear related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with windows ADP/CDK Tekion systems preferred.
- Ability to work with various extended warranty and fleetpay companies.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Use computers preferably in a PC Windowsbased operating environment.
- Define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to multitask phone computer and live person in front of you Read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
