Job Description
The Wistar Institute is seeking a highly motivated Visiting Scientist to work in the laboratory of Dr. Alessandro Gardini in the Ellen and Ronald Caplan Cancer Center at The Wistar Institute. The Gardini lab is interested in understanding how epigenetic regulators coordinate cell fate commitment at developmental enhancers as well as characterizing how mammalian RNAPII is regulated at proximal promoters. The lab employs functional genomics biochemistry and proteomics approaches in a variety of cell systems ranging from primary myeloid cells to human iPSCs. Detailed research topics and publications can be found at should be in the process of or have obtained a PhD degree in biomedical sciences. We are looking for motivated individuals highly independent and inclined to teamwork. Previous experience in biochemistry or genomics is preferred.
