Job Description
Are you a seasoned researcher seeking to drive breakthrough applied research at the intersection of industry challenges and cutting-edge AI Thomson Reuters Labs invites distinguished scientists to lead transformative research initiatives in machine learning natural language processing and generative AI within our dynamic industry setting.

We drive AI transformation across Thomson Reuters flagship Risk and Fraud portfolio including CLEAR CLEAR Adverse Media and CLEAR Risk Inform.
About the Role:
As a Senior Research Scientist Intern you will:
Independently perform a research project
Define research strategy and independently architect novel approaches to complex technical challenges
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and experimentation translating cutting-edge research into practical applications
About You:
Youre an ideal candidate for this Senior Research Scientist Intern position if your background includes:
PhD in Computer Science Machine Learning NLP or related field with demonstrated research excellence
7 years of industry or research experience leading AI/ML/NLP research initiatives
Track record of publications in NLP
Deep expertise in state-of-the-art NLP architectures Knowledge Graph research and advanced GenAI methodologies
Advanced proficiency in Python deep learning frameworks and distributed computing
Experience with large-scale model training cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure) and MLOps practices
