We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team in Webster United States. As a Cook in our organization you will play a crucial role in preparing highquality meals ensuring food safety and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
- Prepare a variety of dishes using standard recipes and daily meal plans
- Operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ensure all food meets safety guidelines and adheres to sanitation standards
- Work efficiently on the food line during peak meal times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and timely food service
- Respond promptly to customer needs and requests to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management and food cost control
- Participate in menu planning and development of new recipes
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in production cooking or preparing therapeutic diets preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety hygiene practices and culinary techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Current food handling and sanitation licenses or willingness to obtain them
- Basic computer skills including entrylevel proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve practical problems in a fastpaced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Positive friendly demeanor with a customerfocused attitude
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse kitchen environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus
