Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced Head Vet Nurse who has strong communication and team building skills and previous experience leading and motivating a high functioning nursing team!
Greencross Oxenford is a large and wellequipped purposebuilt clinic a stones throw from the major shops including Westfield Kmart Bunnings and Woolworths as well as plenty of caf options for lunch! Our Nurse team consists of experienced and fully qualified nurses all licensed in radiology and our outstandingly supportive Vet Director comes with 9 years experience and a keen interest in surgery!
The Role:
- Fulltime position
- Managing a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets
- Guiding and developing the Nurse team building a positive team culture and providing mentorship
- Undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and postoperative care animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person by email and over the phone
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Is ready to take their leadership skills to the next level
- Has a passion for training and developing junior staff
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care
