A Program Specialist 2 is responsible for providing backup and support for the functions of intake eligibility and enrollment for Westmoreland County residents to obtain waiver services in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) that are administered through Westmoreland County Developmental Services Department. This position will develop monitor and analyze any assigned outcomes within the Developmental Services Quality Management Plan and maintain overall data collection and analysis related to referrals intakes diagnoses and timeframes for completion to enhance the access of service delivery. Responsibilities will include contacting the contracted psychologist and engaging in discussion about collected records when diagnostic clarification is being sought. You will have the opportunity to develop resources for training and educating stakeholders and community members and maintain current handbook information given at the time of intake. The Program Specialist 2 may also complete a standardized assessment (ADOS2 for individuals in need of assessment for a diagnosis of autism and do not currently have a formalized assessment. This professional will also be responsible for conducting Certified Investigations following the Office of Developmental Programs Incident Management requirements. Both remote and field work are included with this position.
