NeighborImpacts Early Head Start Overview
NeighborImpacts Early Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education and family support services to families with children from birth to age three as well as pregnant women. Early Head Start aims to foster school readiness and social competence ensuring children and families receive the necessary resources and support during the critical early years.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of Early Head Start homebased program is to encourage and support parents as their childs primary teacher and nurturer. This position will provide early continuous intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to eligible pregnant women infants and toddlers to promote secure parentchild relationships and help parents provide highquality early learning experiences.
This role is a substitute position and involves crafting organizing and documenting suitable educational activities tailored to childrens developmental stages. It includes conducting weekly 90minute home visits to monitor and achieve family objectives. Additionally the job entails working with colleagues to coordinate bimonthly gatherings for families. Candidates must possess outstanding communication abilities adaptability and experience in engaging with diverse frequently underserved communities. This multifaceted position integrates educational social and community involvement elements to support positive family environments and child growth.
