We are looking for a customerfocused individual to join the Premier Press team. You will be responsible for deliveries inside the company as well as sensitive shipments to our clientele in the Portland metro area.
Essential Functions:
- Safely operate vehicle making routine deliveries to location ontime efficiently and in a friendly manner
- Checking product when loading and unloading
- Prepare inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Report vehicle defects accidents traffic violations or damage before and after route.
- Must have valid drivers license
- Prepare Shipments band/wrap pallets for delivery
- Assist in Shipping functions as needed
The ideal candidate for our Delivery Driver role is bright motivated and possesses a strong work ethic attention to detail and a commitment to excellent internal and external customer service.
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver
- Valid professional drivers license
- Ability to operate forklifts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and drive.
- Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a challenging fastpaced environment
- Clean driving record background check no accidents or serious traffic violations
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required:
CDL license and 1 years delivery experience preferred
