An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced leader and specialist to take up the role of Head of Information Technology for a large ICT and Business Solutions firm. The role is based at their head office in Gauteng and is both strategic and operational. For applications and enquiries email .
Duties & Responsibilities
Min Requirements:
B Degree
10 years applicable experience (Senior IT Management role)
Experience in Telecommunications Fintech or Corporate ICT industry would be advantageous
Salary:
RCTC per annum (excludes bonuses) Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Create a vision for IT within the organisation communicate it to employees lead and motivate the team to achieve the vision.
- Develop an IT strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organisation to drive efficiencies.
- Research options for future ICT development.
- Become a champion for change optimise current IT solutions and promote innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- Procure negotiate manage and monitor contracts for IT services provided by third parties and ensure effective service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation as applicable to IT usage and security.
- Financial Management Formulate IT budget and monthly reporting budget vs actual.
