The Compensation & Benefits Specialist oversees and administers our total rewards programs for employees across Europe. This role involves managing benefits administrationincluding annual open enrollmentensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting offcycle compensation changes. The success of the person on this position relies on strong knowledge of countryspecific benefits requirements excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee experience.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the annual open enrollment process for employees across multiple European countries coordinating timelines vendor communications and employee education materials
- Administer ancillary benefits (e.g. health dental life insurance) employee assistance programs (EAP) and retirees benefits ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and local regulations
- Monitor and maintain benefits records in HR systems tracking enrollments terminations and changes in coverage
- Oversee local benefits programs in each country ensuring alignment with national labor laws and regulations
- Collaborate with regional HR partners and vendors to adapt global programs to countryspecific needs
- Stay current with legislative changes affecting benefits and compensation recommending updates to policies and programs as needed
- Administer base pay structures variable pay and other compensation programs ensuring they are implemented consistently and fairly
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to compensation and benefits including job evaluations salary surveys and market benchmarking
- Process offcycle compensation changes ensuring accuracy compliance with internal policies and alignment with market data
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Finance Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree or relevant certification preferred)
- 35 years of experience in compensation and benefits ideally in a European or multinational context
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and benefits administration platforms.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; experience with market benchmarking tools is a plus
- Indepth understanding of European labor laws tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to adapt global programs to meet countryspecific legislative standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation and benefits topics clearly
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to analyze large data sets identify trends and recommend datadriven solutions
- Detailoriented approach with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvement.
