* This recruitment is being conducted specifically for HHS and will be used to fill future full-time part-time variable hour temporary seasonal and limited duration vacancies that may become available within the next six months. *
Part-time regular positionswill be scheduled to work an average of 20 hours per week; will accrue sick and vacation time; and are eligible for holiday pay prorated based on the hours worked. These positions are not eligible for medical dental or vision benefits.
Variable hour positionsare at-will and hours are limited to maximum of 20 hours per week. These positions will accrue sick time and are not eligible for vacation accrual holiday pay or other customarybenefits such as medical dental or vision insurance benefits.
Temporary positionsare at-will and hours are limited to maximum of 24 hours per week up to 6 months of duration. These positions will accrue sick time and are not eligible for vacation accrual holiday pay or other customarybenefits such as medical dental or vision insurance benefits.
Seasonal positionsare at-will and may work up to 40 hours per week for no longer than 6 months of duration.These positions will accrue sick time and are not eligible for vacation accrual holiday pay or other customarybenefits such as medical dental or vision insurance benefits.
Limited duration positionsare at-will limited to the duration of the grant or funding source or the duration required to complete the project assigned to the position. Full-time limited durations are eligible for the same benefits as regular positions. Part-time limited duration positions are eligible for the same benefits as part-time regular positions.
Bilingual Positions:Designated bilingual positions require that the incumbent have knowledge of another language (primarily Spanish) besides English. It is required to possess precise writing skills (including spelling grammar and punctuation) fluent speaking skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. If you possess these skills you are encouraged to apply. Upon successfully passing the applicable proficiency assessment test in a selected language positions that are eligible for the bilingual differential pay will offerin an amount of 5% of the base pay rate or a flat rate of seventy-five ($75) per pay period whichever is greater.Pay periods are every two weeks.

Selection Process:
Applications that pass the initial screening will be added to the eligible list for further assessments and interviews.
Human Resources will use the pool of eligible candidates for any HHS AS II opportunities. As opportunities become available we will contactactive eligible candidates via email including details of the vacancy to ask if they would like to be considered. We call this Surveying the List.
Depending on the volume of interested candidates for any specific opening further screening of the preferred qualifications may be applied.
Once the list of candidates is identified they will be referred to the hiring manager to be invited for a panel interview. Generally 6 8 applicants are referred for each vacancy based on their respective rank on the eligible list.
If selected candidates must pass any condition(s) of employment if any.
