Major Duties
Articulates Business and Functional requirements by developing specifications for business processing systems enhancement and development efforts; Provides ongoing business and technical support. Assist in the development of training and change management materials.
Technical knowledge of a specific area in the financial and/or investment industry usually obtained by experience in related areas is required to design process improvements and to provide support. Knowledge of systems and technological capabilities usually obtained through formal training or experience with applications is required to assess automation possibilities. Analytical and communication skills obtained usually through experience in related jobs or through formal training in system analysis is required to redesign processes.
Knowledge/skills
- As an RPA / Alteryx Developer you will need be involved in automating the process which collects data from various sources blending and performing calculations using Alteryx;
- Handson skills and experience in RAP / Alteryx Designer Alteryx Server and the tools with Alteryx such as Predictive Parsing and Transforms
- Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI Reporting tool
- Write Complex SQL queries on multiple tables using complex joins
- Experience in writing SQL queries against any RDBMS with query optimization
- Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good understanding of unit testing software organizational change
- Ability to work with Alteryx tools macros and analytical apps
- Ability to work in a teambased environment as well as the ability to work independently
- Quickly grasp the business problem and translates into tangible usable actionable outputs
- Work independently with business SMEs to understand a prioritized need and develop Alteryx solutions to resolve it
- Work is typically focused on data pulls from multiple systems and transformation activities to combine/harmonize and reformat the data for user reports and dashboards
- The Alteryx Developer will design maintain and support current workflows created in Alteryx Designer
- Ability to consume current workflows created to maintain and effectively address and issues/defects encountered
- The Alteryx developer will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production
Major Duties
- Able to learn and demonstrate the learning on Projects Learn Develop Deploy and Maintain in SDLC Methodology.
- Responsible to identify assess and document functional requirements recommending business priorities and advising business on options risks and costs. Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit and if not whether new solutions are feasible.
- Articulates business and functional requirements by developing specifications for business processing and systems enhancement and development efforts; Provides ongoing business and technical support.
- Interacts with technology product management and operations to understand analyze interpret and documents business needs into detailed requirements; recommends solutions to reduce costs or improve processes or services.
- Reviews existing systems processes and problems and recommends where system functionality automation or improved processes can be implemented.
- Provides ongoing project support and assists in project planning by estimating and managing work effort.
- Act as a troubleshooter and conducts feasibility studies and defines and designs system requirements for complex data processing projects.
- Handle complicated technical scenarios and propose technical solution options
- Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews
- Organizational skills and the ability to priorities a busy workload
- Ability to quickly understand new systems.
- Should be able to play consulting role during solution architect and also give right direction for Business to approach right solution for their problem.
- Responsibilities will include participating in business and technical meetings gathering and refining business requirements
- Candidate will facilitate meetings and discussions driving consensus of the business requirements and validating solutions for business owners.
- Candidate should have experience working through all aspects of the SDLC and adapt easily to both Agile and waterfall SDLC concepts.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years experience working in the Financial Service/Banking Technology Industry
- Minimum 3 Years of Development and support experience in RPA/Alteryx designer/studio/ Power Automate / Power Platform
- Bachelors or Masters degree in any technical area.
