Job Description
Primary Purpose
Provide assistance to instructor and students during field trips and scheduled activities associated with a specific class or classes. This job description is intended to outline the most common activities to be performed but could include other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for driving COCC vehicle to from and during field trips. Assist in leading student groups in field activities in related subject area. Ensure compliance with safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the purpose of the position.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Coursework or experience in outdoor leadership field sciences or equivalent. License: Current valid Oregon drivers license or ability to obtain prior to scheduled activity date; must be able to gain approval for driving according to COCC Driving Policy Certifications : Current First Aid or CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Familiarity with College curriculum in subject. Experience: Wilderness First Responder or other First Aid experience or training.
