About the role
As a Python Developer Data Engineering Focus youll play an important role in creating innovative data solutions for our customers. Working closely with a supportive team youll develop Pythonbased tools to shape the future of aviation operations.
What you will be doing:
- Design implement and maintain data pipelines to support operational and analytical needs in the aviation industry.
- Develop robust and efficient Python solutions for data processing transformation and analysis.
- Integrate complex data from airlines airports and partners into seamless workflows.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create datadriven tools that optimize decisionmaking for aviation operations.
- Ensure the performance reliability and scalability of data workflows in compliance with industry standards.
- Explore and implement new technologies to stay ahead in a fastevolving industry.
What skills should you have
Were looking for someone with 2 years of experience in data engineering or software development.The ideal candidate has:
- Proficiency in Python for data processing scripting and package management.
- Familiarity with ETL processes SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g. Pandas better Polars)
- Basic experience with (Dev)Ops tools (e.g. Docker Terraform)
- Ability to write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices like SOLID TDD GoF Design Patterns etc.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to thrive in a multicultural international environment.
- Enthusiasm for solving realworld challenges in the aviation industry.
In addition were always on the look for talented Senior level candidates. Consider yourself on our radar if you additionally bring:
- 5 years of experience in data engineering or software development
- Advanced expertise in Python programming including objectoriented and functional paradigms.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining productiongrade data pipelines.
- Strong grasp of data governance security and compliance best practices.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team growth.

- Experience with big data technologies (Spark Kafka).
- Knowledge of cloud data services (GCP BigQuery Azure Data Lake).
- Handson experience with orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cloudnative development and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with the aviation industry.
We offer flexible working hours 3040 hours per week) and hybrid working options where you can live anywhere within Germany but regular presence in the office and willingness for duty travels is expected depending on the project.
