Summary of the Role
As the Sales Development Representative you will spearhead the identification and qualification of new business opportunities focusing on enterpriselevel law firms corporate legal teams and similar markets. You ll collaborate closely with both marketing and sales teams to maintain a robust pipeline of highquality leads. This role requires a proactive strategic and resultsfocused professional with a proven track record in B2B SaaS preferably in AI or Legal Tech. Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions is a major plus.
What you will do:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify highpotential prospects within target sectors especially midsized to enterpriselevel legal departments and law firms.
- Engage prospective customers via multichannel outreach (calls emails social platforms etc. consistently following up to nurture interest.
- Leverage your knowledge of AI and legal technology trends to tailor your outreach and demonstrate value.
Pipeline Management
- Qualify and evaluate incoming leads assessing product fit budget potential and decisionmaking authority.
- Accurately document all interactions insights and lead status updates in the CRM (Salesforce HubSpot or equivalent).
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Account Executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
Product & Industry Expertise
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of our Generative AI solutions focusing on how they address common legal pain points including contract management.
- Stay updated on market shifts competitive products and best practices in legal tech to position our solution effectively.
- Educate prospects on the benefits of integrating AIdriven tools particularly around CLM (if relevant to their needs).
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Provide feedback to the marketing team to refine campaigns and targeting strategies based on prospect interactions.
- Work closely with product teams to stay informed on feature updates and roadmap items ensuring accurate prospect communication.
- Share market insights and emerging trends that can influence product development or sales strategies.
Performance & Reporting
- Consistently meet or surpass monthly targets (e.g. calls made emails sent demos booked leads qualified).
- Prepare and present regular SDR metric reports (conversion rates pipeline velocity etc. for leadership.
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies to enhance lead quality and increase the overall sales pipeline.
What you bring:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 35 years in an SDR or inside sales role within B2B SaaS AI or Legal Tech; proven success in driving pipeline growth.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with the skill to simplify complex concepts.
- Comfortable discussing AIdriven solutions; able to integrate technical understanding into prospect conversations.
- History of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with or strong familiarity of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms is highly advantageous.
- Past success in hitting or exceeding sales development KPIs in a growthstage environment.
- Exposure to accountbased marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Experience in scaling a startup or earlystage business.
