Job Description

LinkedIn is looking for a Learning Experience Designer with a learnercentric mindset strong UI/UX design skills and Learning Management System (LMS) experience to continuously deliver simple delightful and impactful learning platform experiences that inspire product adoption.

In this role you will be responsible for continuously delivering seamless intuitive and engaging learning platform experiences by improving site navigation enhancing content discoverability and iterating improvements to deliver the most simple delightful and impactful customer training. You will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Customer Learning ecosystem and make datadriven recommendations designed to reduce learning experience friction and increase product adoption. This includes evaluating customer feedback leveraging industry bestpractices for learning content organization and designing learning experiences from the customers point of view. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional partners to ensure cohesion with other customer enablement experiences such as Help and Community.

To be successful in this role you must have a blend of technical expertise UX/UI design knowledge and a learnercentric approach to transform the learning platforms into seamless proactive and userfriendly learning experiences that drive adoption of  LinkedIn products. You will need to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems by gathering and interpreting information from various sources identifying relationships between different systems and recommending solutions that meet the needs of a diverse group of stakeholders. A proven track record of effective project management communicating impact through datadriven storytelling and ultimately driving customer value is essential. Building strong collaborative relationships with peers leadership and crossfunctional teams is key to success. Additionally as priorities and deadlines can shift quickly in this highperforming team the ability to work autonomously while maintaining clear effective and transparent communication is crucial. This role will need someone to be flexible working in the US time zone shift.

The work location of this role is remote meaning it will be performed from the designated home work location upon time of hire and any changes to this home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Evaluate & Optimize Learning Platforms: Assess current learning platform processes tagging taxonomy and systems to identify opportunities for user navigation simplification including automation for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.

  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Improve the visual and interactive design of the learning platforms by developing intuitive navigation optimizing content structure and ensuring accessibility (WCAG) compliance for a seamless learning experience.

  • Leverage New Technologies: Explore and integrate emerging technologies such as generative AI to enhance learning delivery and operational processes.

  • Learning Management System Expertise & Strategic Consultation: Maintain expertlevel knowledge of learning management systems providing strategic guidance on leveraging platform features to improve customer experiences and streamline administrative workflows.

  • Platform Administration & Maintenance: Execute key administrative tasks including content service requests live webinar scheduling operational maintenance and platform enhancements.

  • User Research & DataDriven Decisions: Conduct user testing analyze learner engagement metrics and gather feedback to continuously refine and improve platform usability.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Building: Partner with crossfunctional teamsincluding training product technology and customer successto align learning experiences with business goals and foster a trusted advisory role.

  • Market & Industry Trend Awareness: Stay informed on market trends competitive landscape and innovations in learning experience design UX/UI and learning platform best practices to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of learning experience design instructional design or customer enablement.

  • 2 years of UX/UI principles usercentered design and accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Experience working with Learning Management System platforms (e.g. Skilljar Intellum Cornerstone Docebo or similar).

  • Basic knowledge of HTML CSS and other frontend technologies for learning platform customization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing learning experiences for external customers or B2B training.

  • Knowledge of learning technologies such as SCORM xAPI and learning tools interoperability (LTI).

  • Ability to prioritize and execute moderately complex projects under little supervision. 

  • Independently capable of seeking information solving conceptual problems aligning resources and delivering results in challenging situations. 

  • Ability to analyze learner feedback and user engagement metrics to drive learning platform improvements.

  • Adept collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.

  • Able to clearly articulate complex information in a simple and effective manner both in written and verbal communication.

  • Adept at managing tasks and projects with precision and thoroughness.

  • Experience driving internal influence working crossfunctionally on common goals.

  • Experience partnering with multicultural teams and working across multiple different time zones globally.

  • Experience with multimedia or graphic design.

  • Demonstration of a growth mindset.
