Job Description

The Area Sales Manager in collaboration with the Country Manager Iberia will be responsible for implementing a structured and strategic sales management approach. This role involves planning and executing sales activities primarily within Spain and Portugal with occasional support for sales initiatives outside these regions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing sales within the Waste Recycling and Sorting sector handling investment levels typically ranging from EUR 200000 toper order.
  • Ensuring the efficient internal organization of sales processes and structures.
  • Overseeing and achieving area sales budget targets.
  • Developing coaching and collaborating with the global sales team.
  • Executing company strategy and assisting the Business Development Manager in evaluating new business opportunities when necessary.
  • Representing the company at local and international exhibitions and conferences.
  • Actively contributing to the global Recycling Team.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders including a 25person European sales team Global Service Test Center Project Management Business Development and regional management in the USA Europe and other global markets.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the waste recycling or waste processing industry.
  • Proven expertise in selling large capital equipment managing long project sales cycles or selling technical equipment within the recycling sector with a strong focus on Key Account Management.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a customercentric resultsdriven and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A successful track record in contract negotiation coupled with excellent listening communication and analytical skills.
  • A bachelors or masters degree in engineering science or a related technical field.
  • An appreciation for cultural diversity and a willingness to travel extensively with a primary focus on Spain and Portugal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • A genuine passion for the companys technology and a commitment to its employees.
