POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Accounting and Finance Department supports all aspects of the Braves Front Office operations. We partner with department leaders to support the major league baseball team game day operations minor league affiliates spring training operations in North Port international baseball operations The Battery special events sales marketing and administrative functions. Our team works with department leaders to ensure operations run smoothly and to provide financial decision support. The Accounting Apprenticeship will primarily support the Assistant Controller Baseball by assisting in processing invoices and expense reports threeway match customer contracts customer invoicing customer billing monthend reporting and controls and participating in accounting process improvement projects. This position will have a unique opportunity to work with many departments within the baseball organization to understand their financial drivers and learn the operations of the department.
