The Department of Management and Organization (M&O) in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University has an open rank fulltime clinical professor of Management position. The desired start date for the position is August 1 2025.

Clinical faculty in the Smeal College of Business are hired on a multiyear contract are expected to teach 18 credits per academic year (or its equivalent) and contribute to the teaching mission of the school by bringing relevant knowledge experiences and perspectives to the classroom. Clinical faculty also typically assume leadership roles in the departments academic programs and mentoring of students including related student organizations. Clinical professors are eligible for promotion (ranks of Assistant Clinical Professor Associate Clinical Professor and Clinical Professor).

Job Requirement: Clinical faculty in the Smeal College of Business have a primary focus on teaching and therefore evidence of a successful teaching record is required. A terminal degree in management or a related field is also required. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who will enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and collaborative departmental environment. Our departments immediate needs are teaching courses in leadership management diversity project management and/or ethics in a business setting.
