We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Analyst I
The primary purpose of the Applications Systems Analyst isto develop and/or implement information technology solutions to enhance enterprise success. This position will provide business and technical support work involving analyzing designing and improving applications. This position will collaborate successfully with the Division of Highways (DOH) business unit representatives IT Infrastructure Services and application vendors regarding application infrastructure design and development Software Quality Assurance (QA) and application deployment. May work with other analysts and specialists to provide systems analysis and development. Identifies and analyzes recurring problems. Applies knowledge of new or existing technologies to develop solutions for projects. This position will play a vital role in applying software engineering best practices knowledge understanding of DOH business incorporating these needs into application requirements and ensuring that the overall business requirements are thoroughly understood and supported across the organization.

Bachelors degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development
OR
High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
