POSITION: Asset Management Office (AMO) Summer Student
REPORTS TO: Manager Asset Management Office
DEPARTMENT: Asset Management Office
LOCATION: North Bay
REFERENCE:
RATE OF PAY: $17.75

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The successful summer students will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and organization of data within the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program. This includes supporting data collection and cleansing efforts collaborating with team members to identify and address data gaps and assisting with data input and quality control. They will be accountable for maintaining high standards of data integrity and contributing to the overall success of the program.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program
  • Review and organize data collection requirements
  • Assist in data collection and cleansing for assets and parts
  • Work with data collectors to identify missing assets
  • Assist business units with data gathering and input in database
  • Assist with quality control checks for all completed templates prior to test loads
  • Assist with spot checks after test load
  • Digitize or organize documentation to be included in asset/part records
  • Participate in HxGN EAM System testing (SIT UAT)
  • Responsible for updating data collection dashboard/reporting
  • Assist with administrative support
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preference given to students enrolled in a fulltime postsecondary program or entering fulltime postsecondary studies in September 2025
  • Must be able to work fulltime hours 40 hours per week)
  • Working in an office setting
  • Medium level computer experience (comfortable learning new technology (EAM)
  • Basic tablet experience (should be comfortable with collecting data electronically)
  • Medium level experience with excel (can easily navigate the basics of the program use of simple formulas and conditional formatting etc.
  • Comfortable communicating with others within a team setting and oneonone
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Teams
  • Good work ethic energetic and enthusiastic
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Possibility of some travel to other offices
  • Must be committed to Health and Safety
