Position Summary:This position is the Staff Authority responsible for quality assurance testing and providing technical support to staff and external users for ECMC applications. This position liaises with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) application development resources dedicated to support the agency as well as contract developers to accomplish the continuously evolving realm of applications required to interface with COGIS data for the assigned Unit. The position prioritizes testing and support needs; liaises with the Application Development Coordinator and the COGIS Data Coordinator to communicate any functionality issues; and determines the most suitable staff to remediate issues. It oversees application testing and builds quality assurance protocols; and provides user training or guidance to assist staff and the public in using new applications. It develops protocols procedures and tools to document business processes and trains employees in their use.

Minimum Qualifications:Extensive experience with QA/QC testing of software applications including defining metrics tracking and reporting.
Application development technical project management andor technical support experience.
Comprehension ofSQL database design schema and querieshelpful.
Proficient with Google applications and project management software (Azure DevOps Asana).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service experience. Ability to relay complex information to a group or individuals.
Attention to detail; ability to multitask; and strong time management skills.
Government or industry experience in energy regulation or natural resources.
Current or former State experience relevant to this position.
