Job Description
Amazons Advertising Technology team builds the technology infrastructure and ad serving systems to manage billions of advertising queries every day. The result is better quality advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers. Amazon Publisher Services (APS) helps publishers of all sizes and on all channels better monetize their content through effective advertising. The APS Publisher Products Engineering team is responsible for building cloudbased advertising technology services that help Web Mobile Streaming TV broadcasters and Audio publishers grow their business. The engineering team focuses on unlocking our ad tech on the most impactful Desktop mobile and Connected TV devices in the home bringing realtime capabilities to this medium for the first will also drive the strategy for critical program support initiatives ensuring stakeholders engineering teams and customers are building trustworthy solutions for businesscritical decisionmaking.
In this role you will work closely with SDEs FEEs Data Engineers BI Engineers Data/Applied Science and partnering with crossfunctional product teams to deliver highquality scalable data products. You will also partner with business counterparts like BDs AMs SAs and other roles to help drive the customer facing advertising initiatives. You will assess risks anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management make tradeoffs balance business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risktaking behavior to maximize business benefit. Successful candidates will have a technical background be detaildriven and possess excellent problemsolving abilities.

Coordinate the development timelines across several large engineering organizations to deliver on strict timelines
Work with cross functional product leaders to drive of an ambitious product roadmap
Be the voice of the team across multiple layers of the organization and drive multiyear planning activities.
Act as mentor and role model for other members of the team
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
7 years of technical product or program management experience
5 years of software development experience
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
8 years of handson work managing complex technology projects experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
