Job Description
Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking parttime instructors to teach a variety of inperson biological sciences BIOS courses at the undergraduate level. The exact number of Instructors needed is undetermined at this time as it is primarily dependent upon enrollments and changing programmatic needs. When a need arises the department will select qualified candidates from this pool. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach in the following areas: human biology BIOS 1030 anatomy and physiology BIOS 1300 BIOS 1310 and microbes and humans BIOS 2210 For detailed course information view description and learning outcome information in the Undergraduate Catalog . Positions will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term. Future possibility for various delivery modes including in person/facetoface hybrid or via technology. This is a parttime position eligible for sick leave and retirement benefits.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Biology or closely related content area at time of application and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline relevant graduate course work.

Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Biology. Experience teaching undergraduate courses. Statement on teaching philosophy and experience with teaching of writing.
