Job Summary
The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Adjunct Instructor. Allied Health programs are EMT/Paramedics Medical Billing & Coding Medical Assisting Medical Laboratory Technician Occupational Therapy Assistant Pharmacy Technology Physical Therapy Assistant Radiography Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for:
Part-time didactic and clinical instruction in the program
Academic advising for current and potential program students
Program course and curriculum development
Internal service to the college via committee participation and engagement as a faculty member
Continued growth as an instructor via professional development
Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities
Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and accreditation policies and regulations.
Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.
*****This is a pool position and you will not be contacted until a program need arises.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree and certification requirements dependent upon program.
