In this role youll:
Architect and build scalable data solutions that power critical business decisions
Partner with leadership to identify key metrics and create executivelevel dashboards
Lead the development of sophisticated analytics tools and selfservice reporting platforms
Uncover gamechanging insights that drive product innovation and customer experience
Mentor team members and champion datadriven culture across the organization

Key job responsibilities
# Data Strategy & Architecture
Design and implement analytics architecture that bridges BI and data science capabilities
Lead integration of AI/ML tools to enhance data analysis and predictive modeling
Build scalable solutions that support rapid business growth
# Analytics & Insights Leadership
Develop key metrics that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Uncover actionable insights to inform product strategy and customer experience
Partner with leadership to translate data into strategic recommendations
# Technical Innovation
Build intuitive selfservice analytics tools and automated reporting solutions
Establish best practices for data modeling visualization and analysis
Collaborate with data science teams to integrate predictive models into BI solutions
# CrossFunctional Impact
Partner with product engineering and business teams to drive datadriven decisions
Present complex analyses to senior leadership in clear actionable terms
Mentor team members and champion datadriven culture
This role is critical in building the analytics foundation for Amazons automotive business combining technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive business growth.
About the team
Our newly formed team is on a mission to revolutionize how customers discover and shop for vehicles online combining Amazons customerfirst approach with innovative automotive retail solutions. Join us in building this transformative business from the ground up.
10 years of professional or military experience
5 years of SQL experience
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multiTB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval data science machine learning and data mining
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R Python Ruby etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
