PositionSummary: Responsible for developingmanaging and implementing a marketing and communication strategy that will heightenTexas Hearing Institutes impact visibility and reputation as well as promote client volume growth. Strategiesinclude digital marketing media relations internal and external stakeholderengagement and brand management. Interacting with and being accessible to allprogram departments will require working onsite most business days.
Key Responsibilities
Developmaintain and communicate a strategic marketing plan that supports TexasHearing Institutes strategic plan and goals including measuring monitoringand communicating KPIs.
Develop annual andlongterm strategies overseeing all interdepartmental and externalcommunications.
Collaborate with alldepartments and teams to achieve marketing and communication goals.
Workwith Development staff to craft donorcentric communications and storytelling.
Maintain Texas HearingInstitutes brand identity and messaging across all communication channels.
Develop design andmanage marketing projects and materials including brochures newslettersAnnual Impact Reports onsite TV monitor displays videos photos fundraisingcampaigns the Annual Gala and the Annual Clay .
Oversee and maintainthe website in collaboration with the website management company and key teammembers.
Coordinate marketand oversee (as needed) internal events like The Melinda Webb Schoolgraduation ceremony.
Build and maintainmedia relationships and coordinate PR opportunities.
Work with our SEOoptimization firm to maximize social media reach and website activity.
Executea successful and ongoing social media campaign including leading planning andcontent development while engaging program department staff committees andMelinda Webb School PTO for feedback on content.
Engage with staff employee committees(DEIB Rewards and Recognition CQI) and the Melinda Webb School PTO todevelop highimpact and relevant blogs.
Coordinatelogistics in support of staff attending outreach events such as conferencesand attend events as needed.
Provide marketingsupport to thirdparty fundraisers.
Manage all marketingapplications vendors subscriptions and storage (images videos)
ManageTexas Hearing Institutes graphic design needs.
Oversee onlinerecruitment and the initial orientation of volunteers to support programdepartments.
Required Qualifications
Excellentinterpersonal skills for fostering strong relationships with donorsvolunteers board members fellow staff members and other key stakeholders.
Exceptional writtencommunication skills including storytelling with expertise in editing andproofreading.
A strong selfstarterhighly organized creative professional and adept at managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) Adobe Creative Suite Canva andConstant of Monday SharePoint and WordPress are aplus.
Skilled in layout anddesign.
Strong knowledge ofcurrent and ongoing digital and social media trends.
Familiar with using a CRM system (Raisers Edgepreferred).
Possessa valid drivers license vehicle and the ability to drive to meetings.
Willingnessto work evenings and weekends if necessary.
RequiredEducation and Experience
Bachelorsdegree plus at least 4 years of experience or a combination of some collegeeducation and 810 years of successful experience in marketing andcommunications.
Salary and Benefits
$70000 $85000 based on experience expertiseand accomplishments.
The generous benefits package includes 12 paidholidays 21 PTO days and health insurance with supplemental dental visionand life insurance options available. Fully vested contributions to a 403(b)retirement plan are provided after one year of employment.
