Job Description
Job Vacancy: Chief Distribution Officer (CDO)
Location: Kolkata
Our client a private company registered at Registrar of Companies Kolkata is in search of a Chief Distribution Officer to become part of their team. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in ecommerce currently holding a midmanagement position and having familiarity with Zepto Blinkit Bigbasket Instamart or Flipkart. A solid educational background from a reputable B School is a must and candidates should be at ease with the Kolkata location. This opportunity is available to candidates within 36 years of age from the ecommerce industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate distribution strategies for entering new markets identifying distributors and collaborating with the field team to onboard distributors.
- Ensure successful new product launches and collaborate with the product team to establish a supply chain for client servicing.
- Plan revenue forecast and evaluate performance to ensure revenue goals are achieved.
- Define systems requirements and investments to support revenue streams.
- Monitor quality quantity delivery timelines transport costs and efficiency.
- Address problems or complaints related to customer/distributor operations.
- Supervise daytoday operations and implement operational strategy structure and processes.
- Manage quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations and coordinate support throughout the business.
