The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Aram V. Chobanian and Edward Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a clinical investigator with expertise and training in neurooncology. The neurooncologist will join a rapidly expanding cancer program at Boston Medical Center a 514bed academic teaching hospital that serves a highly diverse patient population from the city of Boston and throughout New England. Based within the Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology the neurooncologist will collaborate closely with physicians and staff in the Departments of Neurosurgery Neurology and Radiation Oncology to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with primary and metastatic CNS malignancies. The neurooncologist will have opportunities to expand and lead the neurooncology clinical trials program and to collaborate closely with laboratorybased investigators on translational research studies.
A full time advanced practice provider will support the position. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments
Requirements: The successful applicant will have either an MD or DO and will have completed a neurooncology fellowship training program. Board certification in either medical oncology or neurology is required.
