Job Description

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW is continuing its drive to build a worldclass faculty with a new wave of up to sixteen tenured or tenuretrack hires in 202425.

We are particularly interested in recruiting outstanding scholarsof any research methodology and in any subject areawho are excited by the opportunity to engage in scholarship teaching and institutional service at the highest level at one of the nations largest public universities. Depending on qualifications and experience candidates will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Associate or Full Professor with the ordinary fulltime 9month service period to begin in the fall of 2025.

Since integrating with Texas A&M in 2013 our law school (located in Dallas/Fort Worth) has

sustained a remarkable institutional trajectoryas evidenced by significant growth in the size and scholarly impact of our faculty; dramatic gains in the academic profile of our incoming students; and resulting advances in the schools rank and reputation. With the Universitys recent commitment to further increases in its support for the law school the coming years will not only see a substantial number of additional faculty hires but also further advances in the caliber of our student body and construction of an entire new downtown campus with the law school as its academic anchor.



Candidates must have a J.D. or equivalent.
