About the Opportunity
The Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap is one of NSW Governments strategic priorities. As policy maker for the Roadmap Energy Climate Change & Sustainability group is recruiting to build a new team that will provide policy advice on priority energy infrastructure needed to support the transition. As Senior Policy & Projects Officer you will be actively designing practical solutions to emerging issues in the energy sector such as system strength.
About the Team
Within the Department Energy Climate Change & Sustainability is the policy maker for energy reliability and affordability climate change and emissions reduction. An economywide transformation is underway. Our challenge is to ensure an integrated fair and enduring impact on the current and future residents of NSW
About You
You want to work at the heart of energy policy in NSW. You want to see the energy transition happen as quickly and as smoothly as possible. With your policy and program smarts you enjoy devising fitforpurpose solutions to vexing problems. You enjoy analysing situations and preparing regulatory and commercial advice. You work collaboratively and with attention to detail to deliver highprofile policies and projects.

Who we are
DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations. DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
