Job Description
Overview
Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Desktop / Field Technician in Eagle Mountain UT 84005. This is a Contract opportunity that and offers outstanding benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support and IT services to various company locations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on company devices including PCs printers and servers.
- Handle moves adds and changes (MAC) responsibilities efficiently.
- Install and configure hardware and software as needed.
- Perform basic networking troubleshooting tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize general knowledge of Active Directory for user and device management.
- Deliver worldclass customer service to company onsite locations ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Travel to various locations as needed to provide field IT support services.
- Create track and resolve service tickets determining priority levels and ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Install devices and collaborate with the network team to ensure devices operate smoothly.
- Perform server cable patching to maintain site operations.
- Maintain close and positive relationships with customers to ensure their IT needs are met.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of desktop support and IT experience.
- Solid hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- General knowledge of networking.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Ability to perform moves adds and changes.
- Experience with installation and configuration of IT equipment.
- Willingness to travel between sites to provide handson technical support.
