Job Description
The Senior Director of Medical Affairs leads the daytoday operations of the seven service lines making up the Medical Affairs department primarily responsible for the credentialing privileging professional oversight and engagement of over 2000 pediatric providers. Responsible for organizing and supervising all departmental functions staff and support operations. Plans implements and manages the Medical Staff and Allied Health credentialing program to include initial appointment annual review reappointment proctoring and privileging in accordance with regulatory accrediting agency and bylaws requirements. Responsible for oversight and facilitation of Medical Staff organization governance activities. Ensures that the medical staff bylaws rules and regulations and/or policies reflect current practice and are consistent and in compliance with all standards and regulations.
Required Education and ExperienceBachelors degree or ten 10 years of experience in medical staff services with at least five 5 years of directorlevel experience including managing peer review processes and delegated credentialing.
Required Credentials
Certified Professional Medical Services Professional (CPMSM) by the National Association Medical Staff Services OR Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare must be continuous throughout employment.

This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
