The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Manager to join the Production Team based in Cardiff. Made in Australia since 1921 Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities and tasks are varied and will involve daytoday people management operational management continuous improvement and change management. Reporting to the Branch Manager the Operations Manager will enjoy ongoing support to drive productivity efficiency and safety.
What Will You Do
You will:
- lead and guide crossfunctional teams across production maintenance warehouse & dispatch sustainability and safety to achieve and surpass KPIs and productivity targets.
- drive operational excellence by mentoring leadership spearheading change initiatives and fostering a highperformance continuous improvement culture.
- design implement and maintain operational systems and training programs to ensure workforce structures and planning align with business objectives.
- develop and execute strategic improvement plans across all operational areas backed by clear measurable KPIs.
