Job Description
REPORTS TO: VP of Content
As a dynamic and engaging voice in the prolife movement Live Action is seeking a fulltime Social Media Content Creator (SMCC) to produce compelling and shareable content across social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator who thrives in front of the camera possesses a strong understanding of digital trends and can develop creative content that resonates with a broad audience. This role requires someone comfortable being a social media personality engaging with audiences and delivering highimpact messages that support Live Actions mission.
The Social Media Content Creator must be highly strategic passionate about storytelling and deeply committed to Live Actions mission. This role offers significant potential for growth and the opportunity to be part of a fastpaced highly productive team. The position can be remote with a preference to be based in CA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as a primary oncamera talent for Live Actions digital platforms creating engaging video content for Instagram TikTok X Facebook and YouTube.
- Developing and executing content strategies that amplify Live Actions message and maximize audience engagement.
- Creating a wide variety of content formats including shortform videos reels and others.
- Staying ahead of social media trends viral challenges and platform algorithm updates to optimize content reach and impact.
- Collaborating with the social media and content teams to brainstorm and execute new ideas for viral and evergreen content.
- Writing compelling scripts captions and calltoaction messaging that align with Live Actions voice and values.
- Engaging with audiences by responding to comments messages and participating in conversations relevant to prolife advocacy.
- Working with inhouse videographers and editors to produce polished highquality content.
- Assisting in the development of influencer partnerships and crosspromotional opportunities.
- Occasionally representing Live Action at events interviews or media appearances.
Requirements:
- Strong oncamera presence with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms trends and audience engagement strategies.
- Ability to script produce and present compelling content independently.
- Passionate about the prolife movement with a basic understanding of prolife apologetics.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on content for maximum effectiveness.
- Experience in video editing or familiarity with basic editing tools is a plus.
