Podar International School in Gaya is seeking a dedicated Junior Teacher with 1 to 3 years of experience in the education sector. This fulltime position requires teaching subjects such as Social Science English Hindi and Sanskrit. The candidate should possess essential teaching qualifications like B.Ed or D.Ed and be committed to fostering an engaging learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or Diploma in Education (D.Ed) which are mandatory skills for this role (Mandatory skill).
- Must have experience as a Social Science Teacher (Mandatory skill) to effectively teach and engage with students in this subject area.
- Demonstrated ability to teach English adapting the lessons to cater to the individual needs of the students.
- Proficiency in Hindi with a strong capability to teach and communicate effectively with students in this language.
- Knowledge of Sanskrit with the ability to teach and create a learning environment that fosters language acquisition.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with a maximum of up to 3 years offering insight into the educational environment and student engagement.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to effectively convey lesson content and interact with students and faculty.
- Capability to integrate traditional and innovative teaching methods enhancing the learning experience and understanding of students.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement lessons that adhere to the schools curriculum and standards promoting student understanding and engagement.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments tests and feedback providing guidance and support to aid in their academic development.
- Manage classroom environments by maintaining discipline and ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and evaluate curriculum and teaching materials.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and address any concerns or queries they may have.
- Continuously update personal knowledge and skills through training programs and workshops to enhance teaching quality.
- Participate in school events activities and meetings contributing to the schools community and educational objectives.
- Ensure that all educational regulations and school policies are followed maintaining the integrity and reputation of the institution.
