For more than 40 years STRIVE has been a catalyst for economic change and prosperity in underserved communities. Our tuitionfree skills and job readiness training oneonone support and lifetime personal coaching prepare students for careers in highgrowth industries such as healthcare construction and logistics. With a proven pathway to possible 80 of STRIVE students graduate 76 attain employment and 70 retain employment longterm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership and Oversight:
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes and systems to improve the organizational effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with administrative support staff across STRIVEs network to maintain and enhance operational consistency across all sites.
- Partner with the CFAO and senior leadership to ensure that operational functions support the organizations strategic goals and longterm vision.
- Assist in providing operational insights to inform planning and decisionmaking.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of internal and external meetings including staff retreats ensuring all logistical details such as travel and accommodations are secured. Collaborate with the Special Events Manager as needed.
Policy Development and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP):
- Lead the development documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout STRIVE that ensure consistency efficiency and compliance across the organization.
- Regularly review and update policies to reflect best practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide staff training and support to ensure adherence to policies and operational standards.
Facility and Office Management:
- Collaborate with appropriate departments to safeguard the maintenance and management of physical office spaces ensuring all regional offices are functional safe and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and support the procurement of office supplies furniture and equipment to ensure offices are fully equipped to support workforce development programs while identifying and implementing costsaving measures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Lead efforts to ensure that each office is set up to provide optimal services including managing office space and facilities as the organization expands.
- Collaborate with site leadership and the administrative/operations team to conduct routine safety drills for staff and students.
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency action plans for all operating sites ensuring preparedness and safety protocols are in place for various emergency scenarios.
Opening New Offices:
- Partner with the CFAO in opening new regional offices by managing office space and facility lease agreements coordinating logistics gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Collaborate with legal finance and other departments to ensure all documentation and requirements are in place for the successful launch of new offices.
- Work with facilities to ensure a smooth transition and integration of new offices into the organizations operational framework.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure adequate office space and resources are available for staff as part of workforce planning.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the organizations operations comply with federal state and local regulations as well as industry standards.
- Lead efforts in risk management identifying potential operational risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits of operational processes and facilities to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration NonProfit Management Public Administration or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in operations management or workforce development including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing regional teams and supporting multiple offices with a proven ability to implement operational improvements and maintain consistency across locations.
- Proven track record of opening and managing new office locations including coordinating logistics procurement and compliance activities.
- Strong background in financial management budgeting and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership interpersonal and team management skills with the ability to drive performance and build cohesive teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a focus on achieving operational efficiency and consistency.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders including staff senior leadership vendors and external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite project management software and CRM systems.
- Indepth understanding of facility management and operational requirements for multiple locations.

Location: This position will be inperson a minimum of three days per week at STRIVE New Yorks office in East Harlem.
