Join Our Team as an Activity/Member Assistant in Greer SC! Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team in Columbia SC! If you have a passion for working with the elderly and young adults in a supportive and engaging environment this is the perfect opportunity for you. Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities including arts and crafts music games and educational programs. Provide handson personal care (ADL assistance) to members including feeding toileting and dressing. Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members. Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere. Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health reporting to the RN Administrator. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred but not required) Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment Clean background check and drug test Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks
