Job Description

ATX Learning is looking for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team and help foster an inclusive supportive and empowering learning environment for all students.Position: Special Education TeacherLocation: Irvington NJType: FulltimeResponsibilities:Develop and implement personalized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needsAdapt instructional materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic and functional areas.Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and behavior.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.Valid Special Education Teacher CertificateExperience working with students with a range of disabilities including autism learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders.Strong understanding of special education laws regulations and best practices.Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with students parents and colleagues.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume cover letter and contact information for three professional references to
