We are looking for a motivated and detailoriented engineering Intern (all genders) to support our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solutions for commercial and industrial applications. The intern will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support technical solutions research emerging technologies and assist in documentation and benchmarking efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in the energy storage sector while working with industry experts.
This position is based onsite in LeinfeldenEchterdingen Germany.
Responsibility:
- Supporting technical solutions beyond BESS for customers across different regions by analyzing requirements and assisting in solution development.
- Assisting in the creation and optimization of engineering processes related to BESS design commissioning and maintenance.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation ensuring clarity and accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.
- Benchmarking industry trends competitor products and best practices to provide datadriven insights.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Energy Systems or a related field.
- Understanding of energy storage systems batteries or power electronics.
- Practical experience in CAD software CATIA V5 (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes (Preferred)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) for documentation and presentation purposes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English; intermediate in German and additional European language is a plus (Spanish Italian)
