partner staffing on behalfof our Client weare seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Project Scheduling and CostController to join their team in Calgary. This role is critical to ensuring thesuccess of our projects through accurate scheduling budget management andcost control. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project planningmonitoring and reporting as well as a strong ability to collaborate withcrossfunctional teams.



Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Developmaintain and monitor detailed project schedules using tools such as PrimaveraP6 and SAP
  • Identifyand resolve scheduling conflicts ensuring critical milestones are met.
  • Regularlyupdate and communicate schedule changes to project stakeholders.
  • Performschedule risk analysis and propose mitigations to address delays or deviations.
  • Establishand maintain project cost baselines budgets and forecasts.
  • Trackand report project expenditures ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Identifycost variances and provide recommendations to mitigate overspending.
  • Collaboratewith procurement and finance teams to manage contracts and invoices.
  • Prepareand deliver regular progress reports including Earned Value Management (EVM)metrics.
  • Communicateproject performance insights to project managers stakeholders and executives.
  • Supportthe preparation of monthly and quarterly project financial summaries.
  • Workclosely with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensurealignment of schedules and budgets.
  • Identifyrisks and opportunities affecting project timelines and costs.
  • Implementchange management processes to handle project scope modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Construction Management Business or a related field.
  • 3years of experience in project scheduling cost control or project managementpreferably in energy construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proficiencyin scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 ans SAP.
  • AdvancedExcel skills and familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.
